De achtste editie voor MTAA van de Marathon van Amsterdam is succesvol verlopen. Het weer was ideaal, zodat het baanrecord zelfs werd verbroken.
Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls. In the Netherlands the Soroptimistclub Zwolle has recently donated thousand euros to MTAA.
Wereldwijd zet Soroptimist International zich in voor de bevordering van mensenrechten en de positieverbetering van vrouwen en meisjes. In lijn hiermee heeft de club Zwolle van de Unie van Soroptimistclubs onlangs besloten om MTAA met duizend euro financieel te ondersteunen.
Op 21 oktober wordt de Marathon van Amsterdam gehouden, het jaarlijks terugkerende renfestijn. Vorig jaar werd er voor MTAA bijan drieduizend euro opgehaald.
In December 37 boys and girls attended with their caregivers the MTAA Youth Friendly Program. They discussed challenges faced by the youths in school and at home. Most important was the sharing of testimonies and individual counseling.
We are very happy the German donor Grace Impact has decided to support MTAA. This organisation supports philanthropic projects and organizations and invests in social impact companies in Africa, Europe and North America.
In July MTAA Nederland organised a benefit dinner for MTAA Kenya. The evening started with a mix of appetizers from around the world; of course the traditional Kenyan ugali (maize ball) could not be missed.

We zijn zeer gelukkig met onze nieuwe donor Grace Impact. Deze Duitse organisatie steunt filantropische projecten en investeert in organisaties met maatschappelijke ‘impact’ in Afrika, Europa en Noord-Amerika. Hun donatie zal opnieuw gebruikt worden voor de adolescentengroep die binnenkort van start gaat.
