MTAA has a board of directors, who are experts from different fields. There are six staff members: two field workers, an accountant, a security officer, a project manager/administrator and the director.
The MTAA-participants in each location are committed to propagate their knowledge and experience of what joining MTAA means to them; this helps to spread the word. The chairman of each group is the contact person for MTAA; on a regular basis there are consultations with the office.
Revenues come from contribution of MTAA-participants, the monthly contributions of individual sponsors and the occasional considerable donations by philanthropical organisations. They partly reach to pay for the trainings and activities.
