MTAA was founded in 2007 and is based in Amsterdam. Board members are Marianne Holtland (chair), Martijn Bakker (secretary), Tom Rossmark (treasurer), Pieter van den Hombergh, Vera Fontijn, Johan de Jong and Diet Scholten. The financial means of the association consist of:
– donations;
– subsidy and money from sponsors;
– legacies and gifts;
– other benefits.
We wish to collect money that MTAA Kenya needs for the intensive trainings in change of behaviour, allowances for staff and rent of the office. On request of MTAA Kenya we have the ambitious intention to collect money for an own appropiate building in Shanda; the plot meanwhile has been purchased.
The members of the board hold office for a period of three years; they can be reappointed and are not paid. The executive committee consists of the chairman, secretary and the treasurer. They assemble every other six months and as often as the chairman and two members find appropriate. A financial annual report is drawn up each year; you can find them here. The policy plan of MTAA (in dutch) can be found here.
Donations
Our deepest wish is to spread the approach of MTAA to other parts of the country. This can’t be done without the support of donations. Is there anything to celebrate and you don’t know what to give? Ask your friends to support our project. Our bank account number is: NL27RABO0125842325 c.o. MTAA Nederland, Amsterdam.
