Building office has begun
Thanks to the gifts of many and a big grand of Wild Geese (Wilde Ganzen) the since long desired building of the office has begun.

Thanks to an steady growth of sponsors and benefactors – and to the benefit dining this october -we have nearly reached our final goal.
Amsterdam Marathon results: 1600 euro
Sunday october 20th the ninth Amsterdam Marathon has resulted in 1600 euro for MTAA. A nice performance indeed!
Hundred building bricks extra!
The sale of bricks for the MTAA-building-to be is very successful: the last two months a hundred new buyers signed up for this good cause.
Fifty bricks being sold already
In three weeks time our action Fancy buying a brick for the future MTAA office has resulted in fifty new bricks already! As the photograph shows the building-to-be is reddening slowly but surely.

To facilitate an office for MTAA Kenya we need an amount of 33.000 euro; Wilde Ganzen (Wild Geese) has promised a supplement of 10.500 euro once we have accomplished 22.500 euro. Fancy buying a brick for this really good cause?
First step towards MTAA-centre
At the buildingsite-to-be men recently have digged a waterwell, for without water any building will be impossible. In the meantime the design of the office has been altered to a lower budget (€32.000). The contractor is all ready for action…
World Aids Day
MTAA has been present very visibly at the World AIDS Day on 1 december in Kakamega. From their own marketstand MTAA workers were active with publicity, demonstrations and counseling.
Great honour for founder MTAA
The 20th of October Gertrude Lwanga received official recognition for her work in the community. President Kenyatta acclaimed her – with 200 other people chosen from all over Kenya – a Shujaa (hero).

The 2018 Amsterdam Marathon has been a huge success. Sunny weather and not too warm, so running times overall were even better than last year. Our runners outdid themselves while running for MTAA.
